Kathysue is the founder of Dorey Enterprises, Inc. and the lead practitioner-researcher for The Dorey Method™ Program of Integrative Study, which is a transtheoretical healing approach that specializes in restoring an individual’s well-being from years of trauma through nine in-field tested methodologies anchored in positive psychology, applied creativity, agape love, leadership practices, emotional-social intelligence skills, and self-defense practices. Kathysue will graduate in May 2026 with an Ed.D. in Community Care & Counseling: Traumatology from the behavioral sciences department at Liberty University. She earned her M.S. in Creativity and Change Leadership from Buffalo State University; holds certifications in self-defense, life/executive coaching, and trauma healing practices; and is credentialed as a practitioner in the Emotional Quotient Inventory 2.0® and FourSight® creative mindset psychometric measures.
Kathysue has conducted Institutional Review Board mixed-methods research since 2012 in cooperation with Buffalo State University, the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine Quinnipiac University, and Liberty University. In April 2026, Kathysue will share her unpublished, groundbreaking mixed methods research findings on how two sex-trafficked women decreased their trauma bonds from years of being sex trafficked while actively participating in a transtheoretical treatment program that taught creativity, emotional-social intelligence, and Christian doctrine skills in a creative environment. The efficacy of learning these skills in a creative setting was measured through the Trauma Bonding Rate of Prevalence screening assessment (TBRP–A) that Kathysue developed after 10+ years of in-field research, in addition to administering the EQi® 2.0, Biopsychosocial-Spiritual (BPSS) model, Spiritual Assessment Inventory (SAI), and Person-Environment Fit Scale for Creativity (PEFSC). From this research, Kathysue hopes to standardize trauma bonding’s definition, diagnostic psychometric instrument, and treatment protocol; along with establishing trauma bonding as a behavioral disorder.
As part of her commitment to Servant Leadership, Kathysue is the Executor Director of Mercy Seed Outreach – an NGO in Bamenda, Cameroon that works with human trafficked men, women, and children in their healing, academic, and vocational training journey; is a Strategic Partner of Give Them a Voice Foundation – a non-profit that works to “give a voice to those who do not have one;” provides mentoring to individuals re-entering their community from homeless shelters; and can be found impromptu facilitating in-person and virtually around the globe.
Her greatest joy is being a mother, being married to the love of her life and business partner, and enjoying the quiet of country living. Her greatest hope is to build The Dorey Institute where weathered souls from around the world can come, live, and heal their spirit.

When asked what her greatest joy in life has been, her response was: “My greatest joy in life thus far, is not based upon a single person, or activity, or experience. It does not come from an outside source. My greatest joy in life is being proud of the woman I see in the mirror. It is a joy I cultivated on my own. A joy that I had to dig deep, scratch, and crawl my way into. Having an insurmountable amount of peace in knowing who I am as a woman in this vast world. Knowing what I stand for and having the strength to stand by who I am to my very core, regardless of the opinions of others.

Healing Recovery and Leadership Mentor

Juliann lives life without veils and has a bond with our earth that is pure and endearing. She creates materials specific to several methodologies used within The Dorey Method™ Program of Integrative Study. Her greatest joy in life cannot be defined as for her, joy is to be experienced daily – without limitation. If however, you ask her ABOUT joy, she will say she finds it in the simplicity of a sunflower, the rain, on a picnic, barefoot in the grass, driving on a country road, petting a baby goat, making homemade dressing from dandelions, and well, you get the vision.
